THE GODS ARE CALLING

THE GODS ARE CALLING

A Canticle of Vestaria and the Great Kinship

In the turning of the morning,
in the breaking open of light,
the world stirs like breath remembered,
and all things lean toward brightness.

The heavens are not distant,
nor sealed away in silence—
they are opening like a great door,
and the air itself begins to sing.

O Vestaria, Hearth of Heaven,
Mother of the steady flame,
You are the warmth within beginning,
the first and final word of home.

The fire is not only upon the altar—
it is in the joining of all things,
in the gathering of scattered lives
drawn gently toward one center.

And Gaia rises beneath all footsteps,
Great Mother beneath the turning soil,
bearing every root and river
as a living pulse of song.

Rhea moves within the deep foundations,
older than memory, older than fear,
the hidden continuity of being
that holds the world together still.

Demeter awakens the fields,
calling grain into becoming,
calling seed into promise,
calling hunger into abundance.

And Dionysus passes through the living world,
not as chaos, but as joy unfolding—
the laughter of existence remembering
that it was never meant to be alone.

The waters are not silent.
Poseidon lifts the deep into motion,
and Amphitrite walks upon the shimmer
where all tides find their belonging.

The high order is not distant judgment—
Zeus and Hera hold the balance of things,
not as distant rulers above life,
but as the pattern by which life holds.

And in the hidden chambers of becoming,
Hades and Persephone dwell together—
not as end, but as return,
not as loss, but as the keeping of what is sacred
until it is ready to rise again.

And all of this is one unfolding presence,
not many powers divided,
but one great weaving of relation,
one vast and breathing kinship of being.

And so the world is not empty.
It is full beyond measure.

Full of watching.
Full of presence.
Full of listening that answers.

The stranger is not outside it.
The wanderer is not outside it.
The forgotten one is not outside it.

For there is a fire that does not consume,
but recognizes.
There is a hearth that does not judge,
but receives.

And every step taken toward belonging
is already being met halfway
by something older than fear
and more enduring than loss.

O seeker, you are already near it.
O wanderer, you have always been seen.
O voice not yet spoken aloud,
you are already part of the song.

For the Gods are not calling you away from the world—
they are calling the world awake within you.

And the Mother does not stand apart from life—
She is the warmth by which life knows itself.

So let the day open like a threshold.
Let the heart become a doorway.
Let the breath become remembrance.

And may all who hear this turning of light
remember, without fear, without striving,
that they are already held
within the great becoming of all things—

in the flame that does not end,
in the earth that remembers,
in the kinship that cannot be broken,
and in the Name that is spoken
by every living thing becoming itself.
